Get to know Adele!
Adele is currently 14 years old and a freshman in high school. She loves playing lacrosse, shopping, and making the occasional Starbucks run. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out by the pool with her family, scootering with friends, and traveling. Adele is kind, caring, and funny. She works incredibly hard and never lets cystic fibrosis define her or stop her from reaching her goals.
On the outside, Adele looks like your average teenager, but on the inside her body is fighting a daily battle. Adele was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis shortly after birth. Her first few weeks of life were challenging, but from the very beginning she showed us just how strong she was. Over the years, Adele has faced many health challenges, including hospital stays, surgeries, and countless medications. She has been on Trikafta since July 2019 and recently switched to Alyftrek. These medications have been life-changing for Adele and have given her the opportunity to live as close to a “normal” life as possible.
